Based on a sculpted panel from the Renaissance, this pendant depicts a muscular youth sleeping upright, leaning on a cloth bundle.  The unknown origins of the image invite the viewer to wonder at his identity, his state of mind, state of fortune, and what circumstances have led him to be here resting, in the buff,  on a pedestal.  This pendant and chair are both finished in a dark antiqued color and have been burnished to a high luster.
